Overview:

Fitting Room Attendant: Part-Time

SCHEELS is seeking individuals motivated to join our team of receptionist/fitting room attendants who enjoy working in a fun and fast paced environment. These associates are responsible for providing world class customer service by providing knowledgeable and courteous assistance to incoming calls of SCHEELS, This team may also assist in creating a welcoming and professional environment for customers in the fitting rooms while providing world class customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, professional and pleasant disposition
  • Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance
  • Assist in general office duties that include mail service, sorting and opening mail to deliver to appropriate individual/department, updating phone lists and assisting other office positions as needed
  • Create daily pocket schedules, make signs for all shops, order supplies and keep stocked at all times
  • Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed
  • Assure customers are receiving world class customer service and attention in the fitting rooms 
  • Checks on customers in and out of rooms, while monitoring amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room
  • Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor
  • Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Strong oral/written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers and all levels or the organization
  • Demonstrate multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Publisher, and Excel
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Stong oral/written communcation and reading skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers and all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

 

Expert Experience:
Preferred High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Activity:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met

Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.  Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury

Schedule:

Typically scheduled 1-2 nights/week (5:00PM-9:00PM) and must be available minimum of two weekends per month. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Average hours per week: 15-25 Hours
