Overview:

Visual Display Associate: Full-Time

SCHEELS is seeking individuals motivated to join our Visual Display Team. Our display team works with our shop managers, freight and leadership teams with the responsibility of creating/managing professional and enticing displays as well as coordinating signs, mannequins, and display supplies while providing world class customer service. The Essentials:

  • Collaborate with Shop Managers to complete clothing and merchandise displays and seasonal shop changeovers
  • Researching lifestyle and design trends and making sure designs will appeal to the target audience
  • Developing floor plans to make the most of the space available
  • Provide ideas and complete tasks that drive the overall Visa experience to the customer threw display
  • Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang and price product to be placed in the Visa booth. Restock product in Visa booth
  •  
  • Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock space
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends, and holidays
  • Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed
 
Expert Experience:

Preferred High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Activity:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
 

Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work

Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates. Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury

 

Schedule:

Typically Scheduled Monday-Friday 7a.m.-4p.m. However, during peak times of the year, associate must be flexible to work varied shifts scheduled between: 8a.m. and 9p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:45a.m. and 7p.m. Saturday abd 10:30a.m.-6p.m. Sunday. Average hours per week is 40-42 hours.
