Overview:

The Shipper-Shopper position will accurately and thoroughly shop our sales floor and then box and ship products ordered by our .com customers. This position will represent Scheels in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner to our customers and fellow associates.This individual will provide superior customer service, along with providing assistance to fellow associates and customers.

The Essentials:

  • Manage daily lists and fulfillment processes to complete orders/ basic computer operation
  • Understand and be able to shop, organize and collect products for orders as well as package, seal and operate small machines
  • Effectively communicate with all associates
  • Understand brands, shops, and internal inventory systems
  • Daily reconciliation and management of fulfillment reports, sales, etc.
  • Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to focus and prioritize tasks with motivation and confidence
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge on Microsoft Office

Responsibilities Include:

  • Print and process daily orders
  • Accurately shop on sales floor for items
  • Prepare and present items for shipping
  • Box and ship items to customers
  • Assist in loading packages for UPS
  • Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
  • Other duties that may be assigned by leadership
  • Order shipping supplies

Expert Experience:
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; and / or 3-5 years of leadership experience.

Activity:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Schedule:

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 7a.m. and 6p.m., Monday through Friday.  Schedule may include a few weekends during the peak seasons. Average hours per week is 40 hours.
