Position Description:
Scheels is currently seeking a Part-Time Service Shop and Delivery Associate for our Overland Park, Kansas location. This individual will professionally represent Scheels while delivering, installing and setting up purchased products and equipment while being able to answer questions relating to usage and care of purchase. This position will represent Scheels in a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable manner to our customers and team members.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide world class customer service during delivery and set up of purchased equipment from Scheels; able to respond and resolve customer issues if there are any complications or errors during the delivery process
• Adhere to the delivery schedule by being punctual and leaving ample time to answer questions, assist with usage and assure functioning properly; adapt effortlessly when customer's schedule changes or able to explain to a customer if delivery times change
• Physically able to lift and construct heavy machines; mechanically inclined and able to use various tools during construction process
• Acknowledge and respect customer's space and personal belongings
• Reassure customer by understanding operation of equipment and applicable warranties
• Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
• Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor as needed

Requirements:

• Must be eighteen years of age
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
• Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solving skills
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
• With or without accommodations, be able to sit, and/or stand, for extended periods of time; able to use hands to process transactions and ability to communicate well with customers
• Able to lift or move up to 100 lbs.

Education and Experience:
Ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience or training.
 
Schedule:
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Average hours per week is 40 hours.
