Position Description:
Scheels is currently seeking a Full Time Service Shop technician for our ski and snowboard business for our Johnstown, CO location. This individual will professionally represent Scheels while setting the customer up with rental gear such as Skis, Snowboards and Snowshoes. This team member will help build our rental business while providing high level customer service.   This individual will also help in the service shop on daily bike tuning, building and servicing.   

Responsibilities Include:

• Order and Maintain our rental inventory and preordering for next season
• Sell and Advise on rentals
• Provide training to the crew on our rental program
• General Maintenance on the Rental Equipment
• Waxing/Tuning skis and snowboards
• Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
• Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor as needed
• Maintaining paperwork and tracking rentals
• Perform all other duties of a service shop tech such as bike repair and tune ups, deliveries and bike building. 

Requirements:

• Must be 21 yrs of age
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to complete basic mathematical equations
• Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solving skills
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
• With or without accommodations, be able to sit, and/or stand, for extended periods of time; able to use hands to process transactions and ability to communicate well with customers
• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience:
Ideal candidate will have three to six months of related experience or training.
 
Schedule:
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10a.m. to 7p.m. Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Average hours per week is 40 hours.
